APPRENTICESHIP VS CONVOCATION

Have you ever asked yourself this question; Why convocation brings about complication and apprenticeship leads to freedom?

I wonder why our educational system is structured in such a way that graduates leaves school to become dependent and liability to the society. In my own view we are trained to have certificates that turn us to job seekers which shouldn't be. Education should be a platform for us to display our inherent talent and skills and be free, using concepts acquired from classrooms to become whom we need to be.

I wonder why a professor seek for employment in a school founded by illiterates and graduates struggling to get employed in a company established by a dropout. Education is all encompassing comprising of morals, character, skill and good grade making. The place of financial freedom, morals and skill should be emphasized in our schools as these are prerequisites to becoming a complete man and woman. Show me a graduate that is making it in life and I'll show you a graduate with good financial education, skill, morals and character added to good grades.

It's high time we shook off the wrong mentality of leaving school and seek job to leave school and become independent/job creators. An Apprentice aspire to leave his or her master to become free and independent and become a master too. Why is our own different? I think the problem lies in our mindset, creating in our minds companies that pays huge amount of money monthly which are few or never exist. No wonder we trek the length and breath of our cities without finding one and right in us is a great business empire that can turn us to billionaires and make us whom we need to be. I challenge you to awaken the giant in you; that business idea, the book not yet written, the song you refuse to sing etc. Your destiny is in your hands.
